The members of the board of the Halifax Women’s History Society have many years of historical research and writing expertise as well as extensive community board, organizational and communication experience.
While the Society has long-term ambitions to bring women’s history to the public in various formats, the first project is WOW, A Woman on the Waterfront. The Nova Scotia Women’s History Society was previously known as the Halifax Women’s History Society and rebranded in 2021.
